Kelly Koerner, M.A, LPC

(She/Her/Hers)

Welcome! My goal is to provide a safe, confidential, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, gain insight, and work toward hope and healing. Taking the step to seek support can be difficult, but it’s also a powerful act of strength. Congratulations on making the first move in your healing journey. I believe that a strong connection between client and therapist is key to effective therapy. Finding the right fit can sometimes be challenging, but I am here to make that process as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Despite our best efforts, life does not always unfold as we expect. We face stressors in many areas, including work, school, and within our families and relationships. We also experience loss and grief at different points in life. These challenges can lead to overwhelming emotions, and feelings of worry, anxiety, and depression.

I provide services to adolescents, young adults, and adults seeking support for grief and loss, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship concerns. I take a strength-based approach to therapy, helping you recognize that you are the expert of your own experience.

Education:  I received my Bachelor's degree from Grand Valley State University and my Master’s degree in Counseling from the Adler University in Chicago.
